MOUNT EPOMEO

(with lunch)

From Serrara to Fontana.
Starting point is the forest of Frassitelli, a forest of dense acacia trees with an amazing view of Punta Imperatore with its lighthouse and Forio with its marvellous church of Soccorso.
Walk, walk, walk, cliff after cliff, scenery after scenery, through a dense forest of chestnut trees (the Falanga) where you can observe the typical stone houses, snow pits and ancient "palmenti" dug into the green tuff (typical local stone), step by step, impression after impression, driven by curiosity and the fascination of the unknown, you reach, accompanied along the entire route by views that touch the soul, the highest peak of the island, Mount Epomeo.
Here you can enjoy a 360° view of the island and the Gulf of Naples. On the way, back we stop in a typical restaurant to taste local dishes accompanied by good local wine.

THE PATHS OF BIANCOLELLA

(with lunch)

Ischia, Campagnano.
According to many, this is the most beautiful path on the island.
Starting from the enchanting village of Campagnano, with the backdrop of the Aragonese Castle, Vivara and the Gulf of Naples, walking through vegetable gardens and vineyards overlooking the sea, path after path, impression after impression, you reach the abandoned village of Piano Liguori.
After some well-deserved relaxation and a lunch based on produce from the garden and local wine, we return.

MONTE DI PANZA, BAIA PELARA, SORGETO & SANT’ANGELO

(with aperitif in the evening)

It starts from a path leading from the heart of the hamlet of Panza, through a thick grove of holm oaks and heather, to the top of the Pelara bay, where it is possible to admire a unique spectacle of nature: the lava that meets the sea and merges with it.
Returning along the path, we reach Monte di Panza, from where it is possible to contemplate a marvellous panorama that sweeps from Capri to Sant'Angelo to the magical bay of Sorgeto where you can take a regenerating bath in the warm thermal waters that flow into the sea and enjoy an aperitif in the water. From here, a small boat will take you to the fishing village of Sant'Angelo.

APERI-TREKKING ALONG THE MOUTH OF TIFEO

(with aperitif in the evening)

This path allows you to experience the volcanic nature of Ischia and listen to the breath of the giant Typhoeus. This mythological figure has always been the focus of a variety of explanations for the island's movements and phenomena such as hot springs, fumaroles and earthquakes. Walking along this easy path, hidden among the Mediterranean maquis, it is possible to admire cisterns dug into the green tuff stone, splendid terraced vineyards with a view of the town of Forio and the island of Ventotene on the horizon.
At the end of the excursion, there will be a wine tasting at sunset with a guided tour of a typical island winery.

CANNAVALE & FONTE DI NITRODI

(with lunch)

The excursion starts from Via Cretaio in Casamicciola.
Crossing some of the oldest paths on the island, used daily in the past to collect water from Buceto, and passing through extensive vineyards, we arrive at the peaceful Piano San Paolo.
After a stop at the Cannavale Estate, where, amidst the enchanting scenery of the eastern side of the island, we will have a light lunch, strictly local produce, we continue on to the Madonnina di Buttavento.
From here, straight on to the oldest spa in the world, Nitrodi.
We are welcomed by the Nymphs of Nitrodi, who will transform our day into a precious experience of health, balance, well-being and beauty.

Car and scooter hire

An easy way to get around on the island is to hire a scooter or a car: a great convenience that will allow you to travel to the most beautiful places without any worries.

Boat trips

If you do not want to miss out on any of the island's beauty, a boat trip is just what you need.
In fact, it is worth taking a boat trip out into the sea, perhaps equipped with a snorkel and mask.
Ischia has some of the most beautiful seabeds in the Tyrrhenian Sea, such as the San Pancrazio and Sgarrupata bays.
Boat excursions can be booked directly at our hotel: we can suggest the most beautiful and evocative tours!

Boat tours around the island

Several companies organise such a tour. It will allow you to admire the beauties of the Ischia Island from the sea, such as the Aragonese Castle, the Villa of Luchino Visconti, and if you choose a full-day trip with lunch on board, you can enjoy the most fascinating coves of the island, such as the Grotta del Mago and the Grotta dell'Amore.
Choose the tour you prefer: the half-day trip does not allow you to bathe, but includes a one-hour stop in the enchanting old fishing village of Sant'Angelo.

If you prefer a full-day trip, you can make several stops to immerse yourself in the island's beautiful caves and coves, which are only accessible by sea. Masks are also provided for admiring the seabed. This is the perfect excursion if you would like to enjoy singing, dancing, music and aperitifs on the boat, as well as a tasty lunch of bruschetta, pasta dishes, water and wine.
It is also possible to hire a private boat, with or without a skipper.

Bus trips

Our hotel organises bus tours to discover the must-see sights of Ischia.
The tours, departing from the hotel, last about 4 hours and include stops at the most panoramic viewpoints on the island, as well as the village of Sant'Angelo: do not miss this opportunity to really see Ischia from a special vantage point!
